The best part? It's actually affordable for this part of town. After eating at the hotels and finding myself a little sick of richer hotel fare, it was nice to get away and stumble into this cafe and order something a bit more down to earth.
We found this place on our honeymoon and have been coming back ever since. We've only ever ordered breakfast and it's wonderful. How can scrambled eggs and ham be so special? I don't know but they are. It comes with fries, Cuban bread and coffee for $7.50 and it's wonderful. The cafe con leche is...there are no words. The service is fine. The servers are so busy so don't expect a lot of chit-chat, we aren't looking for that ever, but they are friendly enough and most importantly they get the order right. I don't know why this isn't rated higher because it's a gem.
Great little hole in the wall restaurant with good food for the price. It's cramped, it's hot, and it's kind of bare, but the food is great and you're not really here for the decor anyway.
I have eaten in over 30 countries and all continents but Australia, but this is hands down the best damn food I have ever eaten!
We had lunch (3 adults and a child) the food was great. Service was quick and very friendly. I should have taken the girl who served us her name but I forgot. She played with my nephew and awesome. Will go back again.
Nice little hole in the wall that feels like it would be great if you were a local and a regular. Nice customer service, and cozy. The place had a great menu with authentic Cuban selections.
My go-to place for breakfast and dinner while staying at the Riu Plaza. Very reasonable prices and fast service. Good, Cuban food, too.
